With a record revenue of 73.6 million euros, UNITY has climbed three places on the renowned Lünendonk List of consultancies this year and is currently ranked 14th among the leading management consultancies in Germany. Due to its steady growth, the company is expanding its management and has appointed two long-standing partners, Philipp Wibbing and Dr. Ulrich Deppe, to the Executive Board.
Philipp Wibbing (age 47) has been with UNITY since 2005, initially for many years as Head of the Competence Center for IT Management and since 2012 as a Business Area Manager. He has always focused on the automotive industry and will continue to do so. For example, he is also an Executive Board Member of the association 'prostep ivip,' which is dedicated to the development of future-oriented solutions and standards in product data management and virtual product development. In the future, the business IT specialist will bring his expertise to other sectors in addition to the automotive industry, including taking responsibility for the healthcare business on the Executive Board. "The healthcare sector can benefit enormously from his expertise in digitalization, which he has steadily built up in the automotive industry over the past few years. He is also no newcomer to the industry, as he runs Team David, an outpatient intensive care service for children, together with his wife in addition to his work at UNITY," explains Tomas Pfänder, Member of the Executive Board at UNITY.
Dr. Ulrich Deppe (age 56) started at UNITY in 2001 and has also gained many years of management experience in various positions. With a doctorate degree in chemistry, he has headed the entire consulting division since 2021. "He has done outstanding work here with his leadership and assertiveness and has further expanded our consulting team both qualitatively and quantitatively," explains Christoph Plass, Member of the Executive Board at UNITY. As a member of the Executive Board, he will lead the HR department in addition to the consulting team.
By expanding the Executive Board to a total of six people, UNITY is preparing for the progressive growth of the company. "We plan to continue to grow in the future. Therefore, it makes sense, and it is necessary to spread the ever larger and more complex areas of responsibility in management across more shoulders. Philipp Wibbing and Dr. Ulrich Deppe have qualified themselves for this position through their outstanding commitment throughout their entire UNITY careers. We are pleased about the competent reinforcement to the Executive Board and look forward to further successful teamwork," summarizes Dr. Frank Thielemann, Member of the Executive Board at UNITY.
