New business structures after a successful closing
The investment of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) in UNITY AG was successfully closed last week. UNITY Management GmbH was jointly founded as a holding company above UNITY AG, which brings with it structural changes.
As of the closing, the managing directors of this new company are Tomas Pfänder and Christoph Plass, the founders of UNITY AG. In the course of this structural change, the Supervisory Board of UNITY AG will also be reorganized: Tomas Pfänder (Chairman of the Supervisory Board) and Christoph Plass will join the Supervisory Board of UNITY AG as representatives of UNITY Management Holding. In addition, Jörg Suckfüll will become a member of the Supervisory Board as a representative of the UNITY Innovation Alliance. With Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Gausemeier and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Schacher, UNITY AG is bidding farewell to two Supervisory Board members who are retiring. Prof. Dr. Martin Henssler (Chairman of the Supervisory Board) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhold Achatz have joined the Supervisory Board of UNITY Innovation Alliance AG.
“We would like to thank the previous members of the Supervisory Board for their successful contribution to UNITY's success story over the years,” emphasizes Tomas Pfänder. Frank Thielemann, representing the Executive Board of UNITY AG, adds: “Our special thanks go to Jürgen Gausemeier, who has guided UNITY with clarity and foresight as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board since its foundation in 1995 and has played a key role in shaping UNITY's success.”
