Sustainable Enablement in Systems Engineering
SE Training & Empowerment
SE Training & Empowerment
In view of new technologies, the increasing networking of products and services and higher demands on development times, costs and product quality, companies are faced with the task of shaping the change from product to system development. Qualification in Systems Engineering is a decisive factor in sensitizing managers for the need and extent of change, enabling product development experts to adapt established development processes as well as training projects in applying new system-oriented methods.
UNITY understands sustainable qualification in Systems Engineering as the sensitization, motivation, enablement and accompaniment of the various roles and people involved in product development. To this end, we work with our customers to develop and implement customized concepts for the company's target groups, for which we draw on a range of established qualification modules in Systems Engineering.
Systems Engineering training courses form an essential part of the qualification measures. UNITY has various options for designing a specific training course:
A training course can be held on-site, or in the form of a virtual training or e-learning. A combination of these three formats is also possible.
On-site training is usually conducted at the customer's premises or at one of UNITY's branches. For virtual training, UNITY provides a training environment in MS Teams. E-learning courses are provided by UNITY through its own Learning Management System.
UNITY conducts closed and open training sessions.
Closed training sessions only take place with company employees. The training courses are geared towards customer-specific requirements in order to provide the best possible support for implementation in practice.
Open training courses are attended by participants from different companies. They take place on fixed dates at proven locations. The goal of open training courses is generally to prepare participants for certification in accordance with SE-ZERT©.
All UNITY trainers are Certified Systems Engineers according to SE-ZERT© and at the same time introduce Systems Engineering in various industries as consultants.
Different training methods are used depending on the target group and objective for qualification. Presentations, videos and instructional discussions are used to impart knowledge; a case study with continuous exercises and project simulations reinforces what has been learned and playful methods of testing what has been learned make the success of the training transparent to participants and trainers.
Elements of organizational empowerment
Sensitize: Present the need for change to affected target groups and take them with you
Motivate: Demonstrate to the individual the personal opportunities and added value associated with the change
Enable: Communicate the right information and learning content to different target groups in a creative and fun way
Accompany: Accompany and continuously coach employees in successful implementation

What our customers say
Training Methods
Training Methods
To ensure the learning success of the training course participants, UNITY combines various didactic methods to impart knowledge, reinforce content and monitor learning.
In addition to the classic presentation format, the knowledge transfer uses other formats such as videos and e-learning, which make the training more varied.
The reinforcement of what has been learned takes place primarily on the basis of a case study, which is worked on in small groups. The exercises, which build on each other, promote an understanding of the interrelationships between Systems Engineering processes.
The UNITY SE quiz can also be used to check learning success in a fun way. Knowledge tests integrated into e-learning courses give learners direct feedback and a good impression of what to expect in a certification exam.
